Diane grew up in southern California. She moved to Colorado five years ago with her husband and daughter. She graduated from University of California, Irvine with a BA in Social Ecology and a Masters in the Art of Teaching. She taught fifth grade at a private school for four years before taking a break to be a stay at home mama. She enjoys the sun, eating good food, hiking, horseback riding and just being outdoors. She loves spending time with her family and dog (Naru) most! Her favorite part of working at BFA is being able to help teach students and nurture their love for learning new things.
