Moms, do you need an escape? The Community Events Committee (CEC) is excited to host a Magical Night with Moms for all students and their moms (or special adult). Join us and find out if you can unlock the clues and escape the room.
We look forward to seeing you from 7 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, at BFA for entertainment and fun! Light desserts and magician entertainment will be featured in the Lightning gym. Clue/escape rooms will be featured in the Thunder gym.*

What will the event entail?
The evening will consist of clue/escape rooms, entertainment from a magician and light desserts. The clue/escape rooms will only be available from 7-8pm and will rotate in shifts. We encourage you to arrive early to ensure you have enough time to enjoy the fun.
I like Muffins with Moms. When is that event scheduled?
The Magical Night with Moms is our community event you may formerly know as Muffins with Moms. A new activity this year required a new name. This event is in lieu of Muffins with Mom, not in addition to.
Is this the BFA mother/son event?
No. This event is for ALL students and ALL moms (or special adult). This is different from the PTO-sponsored mother/son event typically held in the spring.
Why is this event in the evening?
Traditionally we have hosted Muffins with Moms in the morning before school begins. The CEC received feedback from our survey respondents with an interest in holding events at various times, for example in the evening or a weekend. We listened to your feedback and we are trying something new. Let’s see how it goes!
I am claustrophobic. Will I be trapped in an enclosed room trying to make an escape?
No. You will be solving clues to “escape” but will be in areas sectioned off in the gym. No small enclosed spaces.
Do I need to register or pay?
No registration or cost is required.
This all sounds amazing. What do I need to do next?
It’s easy! Simply show up Friday evening ready for fun.
