Job Description: 

This is a full-time teaching position.  The ideal candidate must have a strong elementary education background and fully support the mission of Ben Franklin Academy.

Responsibilities: 

The successful candidate will implement the Core Knowledge Sequence.  The teacher is expected to maintain daily lesson plans, keep accurate records for each student and follow the policies and procedures of the school.

School Description: 

Ben Franklin Academy (BFA), a Core Knowledge School, is a public charter school located in Highlands Ranch. The Academy opened fall, 2011, with approximately 576 students in grades k-6 and has grown to include grade 7 and grade 8 within the next.  Our mission is to develop young adults with character like America’s founding Renaissance man, Benjamin Franklin: well read, scientifically curious, and civically engaged. 

Requirements: 

Must have a Colorado Teaching License with an elementary or secondary education endorsement or be highly qualified as defined by NCLB.
